Mindfulness is for everyone. Including you.

Have you noticed how exhausting it can be to spend a day in your own mind? Its incessant need to chime in on everything is not only annoying, but it can also create a hum of anxiety at times. It isn’t just in your thoughts though; anxiety lives in your body too, keeping your nervous system on high alert.

Mindfulness helps manage the internal alarm system by activating the parasympathetic nervous system (your rest-and-digest mode). With regular practice, your body starts to feel safer, your mind gets clearer, and your reactions become more regulated.

So basically, mindfulness is like giving your mind a snack and telling it to sit quietly for a minute.
