Practicing mindfulness can be life-changing—not because it makes life perfect, but because it helps you meet life as it is, with more presence and less panic. It teaches you to pause, breathe, and respond instead of react. Over time, that changes everything: your relationships, your choices, your sense of self. For me it began when I started to pay attention to my anxiety and got to the root of what was causing it. When my nervous system was no longer in fight or flight on a regular basis, my body and mind began to relax. What began as a way to cope became a way to come home to myself—and now I share that with others.
Certifications
In 2022, I completed a 16 week, 285 hour meditation teacher training where we dove deep into the ancient history of mindfulness and meditation, explored the science behind mindfulness and its evolution as it arrived in the West, and arguably most importantly, we dove DEEP into our own mindfulness and meditation practices so that we could experience what we were learning. In 2025, I completed the second and third levels of the program and deepened my understanding of the philosophy and practices.
